Dave Saline is a contemporary realist painter who has been drawing and painting since childhood, always finding enjoyment in the solitary process of creating. Although somewhat self-taught, he has also taken several art classes at the university level as well as from other successful artists in their studios.

Using a realist approach, he creates landscapes and figurative works that aim to convey a sense of cheerful tranquility and harmony, qualities that the artist finds often lacking in our modern, digitized society. The inspiration for his subject matter comes from his travels throughout the West Coast, the Southwest, and Hawaii, as well as within his hometown of Redlands, California.

He has won numerous awards for his art throughout Southern California, including several Best of Shows, but he considers it the highest honor when people enjoy his work enough to purchase and hang in their own homes.
